Apples also contain substances called quercetin that are known to lower blood pressure as well as a reliable source of vitamin C, potassium, and antioxidants.
4. Beans
Research has shown that consuming one ounce of beans daily reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke by 28%. No need to be an expensive nut, any varieties you like can be consumed, including nuts that cost much more affordable.
5. Green vegetables
Recent research has shown that people who eat a lot of green leafy vegetables such as spinach, kale, or Collard have the same cognitive abilities as 11-year-old people who seldom eat this meal
