1. Avocados
Avocados function as a powerhouse and increase Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD +) which helps protect against disease. As we get older NAD + is drained from our cells so it is important for the body to get nutritional intake which can increase it.
Besides the combination of B vitamins in avocados, especially B3 (niacin), is the main nutrient of NAD + production. Avocados also have the best fat, which is about 77% of calories from fat (oleic acid).
2. Milk
Consuming milk can also prolong life because it is a source of NAD +. According to a study conducted by the University of Lowa, there are 3.9 micromol NAD + per liter of ordinary cow's milk.
3. Fish
Oily fish such as tuna, salmon, sardines, and mackerel have a high amount of NAD + and more than white fleshy fish. The content of tuna contains an average of 20.5 milligrams of NAD + and for salmon contains an average of 10.1 milligrams of NAD +.
4. Green vegetables
For dietary needs vegetables can be a choice of nutrient rich in fiber and NAD +. In addition to good nutrition for the body, there is a high content of B vitamins in vegetables.
5. Yeast
The yeast content in some food products can also help in increasing NAD + for the body. One tablespoon of dry yeast has 3 grams of protein, high iron, and a good source of B vitamins for the body.
